Privacy Policy
This is the official Shadowrocket website and manual. This policy explains how data is handled when you browse this site and applies to its pages and interactive features. In-app connections and configuration handling, as well as App Store transactions, are governed by the relevant feature information and applicable policies. Site analytics should not be taken as records of client activity.
1. Scope and data boundaries
This site provides static pages with purchase guidance, setup instructions, and configuration tutorials. It does not offer account registration, email subscriptions, or forms for submitting personal information, and does not ask visitors for their email address. You can read the manual without providing your real name, payment details, subscription URL, or server credentials.
This site does not provide proxy servers. A one-time client purchase is not a service plan; subscriptions come from your service provider. Follow the tutorials to manage existing subscriptions and server details in Shadowrocket. Do not place passwords, full subscription URLs, or QR codes containing credentials in site URLs, query strings, or other publicly accessible locations.
2. Visit logs and analytics
When your browser requests a page, the site's hosting infrastructure processes technical information needed to deliver it, such as your IP address, request path, time of access, response status, and request headers sent by your browser. These operational logs support page delivery, troubleshooting, and maintenance. They are not account details actively provided by visitors.
This site uses analytics to understand page views, referral sources, device categories, and navigation performance, helping us improve content and identify access issues. When you click an App Store button in a download guide, the site records an entry-point event to assess whether the store link is useful. This event does not confirm a purchase or include Apple payment results.
This site does not read Config, connection logs, or traffic content from Shadowrocket. Analytics are used to understand visit trends and do not require app configurations to be uploaded. How long technical and analytics records are retained depends on hosting and analytics settings; this policy does not claim a fixed retention period that has not been verified.
3. Cookies and local storage
This site has no login sessions and does not use cookies to store identity information. Whether analytics use cookies, and their specific names and expiration periods, depends on the live deployment and what your browser reports. A static website does not necessarily mean that no browser storage is involved in any request.
Page interactions may retain a selected section in the current page state or in the URL hash. This is different from a persistent cookie. Local storage is not used to save subscription URLs, passwords, or payment details. You can review and clear cookies, local storage, and cached data in your browser's site settings, or restrict future storage. Some analytics identification and preference features may then behave differently.
4. App Store and external processing
Shadowrocket is available only through the App Store. The App Store product page linked from this site is operated by Apple. Once you open it, Apple handles page visits, account sign-in, purchases, receipts, and restoration of previous purchases. Purchases are subject to Apple's terms and privacy policies.
This site does not receive card details, Apple Account passwords, or App Store payment credentials. Entry-point click analytics cannot access your purchase history. Links that open in a new window use attributes that isolate the new window from the originating page; your browser may still send referral information to the destination under its referrer policy. For details about in-app data handling, check the App Store privacy information and the app's own disclosures.
5. Policy updates and access
If page features, analytics purposes, or storage methods change, this page will be revised and the last-updated month at the top will be changed. Important changes to data handling will be reflected in the relevant feature information. Check this page for the current policy when you visit again. Cached pages may temporarily show older content; refresh to verify the latest version.
This page does not provide a way to submit personal information. For help with using the app or troubleshooting access issues, see the troubleshooting guide or the setup guide. When describing an issue, do not disclose account passwords, full subscription URLs, or records that could identify you.
